Want to order these (Red W/Clear), however, i read in the directions that the white wire needs to be cut at the fuse panel under the dash. What is the significance of cutting that wire? If I ever sell the car (for an '03 or new C6 only), are there any ramifications when reconnecting the stock wiring harness?

MARZO6, I really don't know the signifigance of cutting that white wire I just did it. I left enough on each side in the event I ever need to re-splice it. This mod can be reversed in 35 minutes. The mod looks very cool. FRCTOM inspired me to do it. You can always leave it on when it is time to sell since the shape or size of the C6 tail lens will change as in the past. FUBU69/LES

If you do not cut the wire all 4 bulbs will blink at the same time, and you just want the fish eye bulbs to blink (clear on your car) I have these and you have to cut the wire, just cut it in a way that you could always put it back to stock, it sounds like a big deal but it's not. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Gotta love those Xport lamps. I bought my amber lamps last year. They were only around 20.00 ea. I went back several months later to get a set for a buddy and they were like 60.00 a piece same price as the solid red lamps. I just switched out the inner lamps for the clear ones, they were only around 20.00 ea. so now it has amber/clear combo like real Xport car

I was wondering why everybody chooses either Red/Clear or Red/Amber when thy install these lights. A real euro car has Red/Amber on the outside and Red/Clear on the inside. Does any vendor sell this combo?

That is because the real Euro setup uses the clear lens for backup lights, the license plates are much bigger than ours so that is the reason. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I am just north and east of Phila, I believe that Sharon was on the Pa - Ohio boarder. I am in Huntingdon Valley, I believe that there is a Huntingdon Pa near Pittsburgh.
