I was doing a search on the Z06 and found this information. Sorry if it's been brought up before, but I hope it helps people like me who only knew what a few meant....

Event Codes and what they mean

Every dealer has the ability to monitor the progress of a specific order as identified by its order number (6 digits) assigned upon order generation to the dealership. Here are the event codes that a dealer can view and their meaning:

2001-Order generated to dealer
2005-Order replaced with GM Prospec order
2050-Order changed
2500-Order sent to production, preferenced
3000-Order accepted by production control
3100-Order available to sequence (now the tpw becomes more stable)
3400-Order broadcasted for production
3800-Vehicle produced
4150-Vehicled invoiced to dealer
4200-Vehicle shipped
5000-Vehicle delivered to dealer
6000-Vehicle delivered to customer
6010-Vehicle delivery change

Ya know, there are new members everyday. What may seem like an old question to some of us is a new question to the newbies. Let's help the newbies as much as we can.

The only bad question is the one that is not asked. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Their is a couple of codes before these that are IMHO the most important. 1100 Order Submitted by dealer and most important 1101 order accepted by the Gen. With out these the rest are meaningless. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
