I installed an Evo2 seat this spring, and I fabricated a seat base. It is very tight width wise. The "ear" of the seat touches the door panel. This is OK for me, as I fabbed the base at the right location for my comfort in terms of fore and aft for street and track, but if you put in a slider, I beleive the ear will rub the door more as you go forward, may in fact stop it. Also, a slider defeats the increase in head / helmet room. Also not sure how you'd attach the slider to the Evo2 itself. It is setup for side mount, the slider mounts underneath.
