Bought a new to me 2002 Z06 last weekend. It had B&B Bullets on it but they were too loud for me. Don't get me wrong they sound f-ing awesome, just too much between 2000-3000rpm for me. (for sale or trade after I take pictures of it this weekend) So I re-installed the stock mufflers last night and am having some trouble with tip alignment. Still off by about 8mm and also the tip angle is different. The higher side already has shims on the rubber hanger mount so there's not much left to go on that side for adjustment. The joint with the underfloor tubes doesn't seem to allow for any adjustment. There's no slip joints like some of the aftermarket pieces just the underfloor bolt joint and the hanger mount. Any ideas or tips to try?

I recommend using a professional shop and a lift. It is sometimes hard to get perfect alignment lying on your back in the driveway with minimal clearance.
