I want to add a "little" more sound to my z's exhaust but dont want to have it too loud just a little more muscular/deeper sounding what do you think.

1.borla cat back (not the stinger)
2.will installing an x-pipe do anything?
3.Replacing the stock cats with hi-flow cats?

any suggestions?

1. no
2. not worth the money alone
3. hi-flow cats should be good

For exhaust, try GHLs. I don't think you can beat the quality and workmanship - they're polished, I love mine!

The x-pipe is worth it if you're also doing headers. I wouldn't do it unless you did headers.

This looks unanimous! GHL's are definitely the way to go if you want deep, throaty, muscle car sound.
