I had similar symptoms. One side cycled way faster than the other. In my case it was a burnt out lamp, right front turn signal. Lamp was all of 2.00 each. You can easily break something if it is your first time, so go easy.
It took app .75 hr. total. Jacked it up to make it easier and also to have better eye level perspective. The hard part was removing the body parts that held it in. Then to visualize how it actually came out/went back in.
