So much for all corvettes are red. I guess that only holds for the regular vettes.

I am wondering if Electron Blue will surpass MY?? Will it have higher sales than SW?? I guess only time will tell. I know that many people are talking about their EB orders, but when I looked at a post of who has ordered which (either here or the CF - I don't remember) I saw that there were fewer blues than I had though.
We'll see. Here's hoping my EB is pretty unique.

It'll definitely outsell MY, most people do not like the idea of paying a premium for the color option. Electron Blue's real competition is Black and Torch Red.

But white didn't cost a premium, did it? I thought MY was the only one.

So the premium theory is quite sound, but not 100% (look they even add up this time) accurate.

Demand enters into it somewhere. Some guy was looking for a SW the other day, and he got about 10 responses of dealerships with white Z06's within a day.

I tell you what though, I think they're one of the best looking cars with the stock rims, and the chrome units really look sharp on them. If I had any clue they were going to be that rare, I would've got one.

Zoomin's right.....I think the white Z looks great....almost bought one from Buds, but changed my mind literally at the last second....mainly just so i could get the newer model....But sure hated passing up on the white one...and "rare" it is relative to the other colors.

White was last on my list of colors that I wanted. After thinking about it though, I realized that it would be the easiest to customize. That and the fact that white was the only one on the lot when I was looking is why I bought it. After buying it I absolutely hated the color until I put the chrome wheels on it. Now I love it and feel extremely fortunate to have 1 of 352.

David, I felt the opposite. I owned a 2001 MY coupe and saw yours and NO MERCY'S plus the Z06 option and I swapped out. I beat you on the chomies though! LOL! Did you ever get my email? Regards,Les
