This is my first post even though I have been enjoying this board for the last six months. I ordered a 2002 Quicksilver/Torch and recieved my order request # DHHSC. I ordered a 2001 last July 15 and without boring you of the details, never took delivery. Looking at the positive side of this, I feel somewhat fortunate for the 20 HP bump, HUD, hopefully no excessive oil consumption, etc. for 2002. Anyway, figured this post was a good way to get my feet wet in here. So, greetings to all, and keep up the great work guys! BTW, is anyone else in here dying to see the new wheels?

I had a friend check into the wheels. He handles all the wheel suppliers for Ford and has contact with GM's wheel suppliers. According to him, he doesn't think the wheel is going to be changed, but the Z06 wheels are going to be supplied by another vendor. And...they are going to be cast.

Thanks for the welcome guys! Frank, I had read that here about the wheels earlier I believe. I like the current wheels so if that is the case, it will be fine with me. A new design, however, would be a nice surprise. Again, thanks for the welcome!

Thanks Mark! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My dealership is in Augusta, GA. and was a pleasure to deal with on my 98 C5. I hope this time things will work out smoothly also. Waiting for over a year tends to test my patience a bit.... can you imagine?

Vince- I've been waiting since July 15, 2000. Long story, but I actually had placed my order that long ago. Dealer kept pushing back delivery ( yes I knew his allocation situation ) until I decided to just go with a 2002. Glad I waited now... it is HELL though!
