Going to local eighth mile track tonite for first time.With my total stock 02 z-6, what kind of time should I be running.Tonite is street legal only so I figured it would be fun.Is about 1500 rpms about right for launch.I've never done this before so this will be a learning experience.

I would launch at about 2500 rpms, I heard that is the best. As far as times goes, who can say, so many variables. If you can get a low 60 foot time(1.8-1.9), then expect to be in the very low 8 second range, or possibly even in the high 7's if fate is on your side. A worse 60' time will raise your time considerably. Good luck.
