I think I saw here or somewhere else a post for foglight installation using some components from stock C5's. I have the Plastic inserts. Don't know if I'm going to follow thru but wondering if how hard it might be. thanks... :)

As far as I know, "some components" can only consist of the foglights themselves (the mounting brackets are an in integral part of the lights), the harness and the dash switch. There are aftermarket brackets available and the installation is not bad. I did the PIAA driving lights with the aftermarket brackets and did the install all through the engine compartment. I purchased the foglight/trunk switch and eliminated the switch that came with the PIAA lights. If the plastic inserts you refer to are the black inserts with the cutout for the fogs that mounts in the duct, I didn't use them and you don't really need them if you go with aftermarket mounting brackets. Did that answer your question :-?
