Has anyone put fog lights on their ZO6 yet?, I am planning on putting them on mine, will they be visable through the screens, or will this just be a waste of money ?

Dave;

I put foglights on the Hardtop. Not a real hard job.

I got the parts thru Ken Fitchner Chevrolet. He also has a good picture of the fog lights on shining thru the screens.

You be the judge of the look. I would go with a higher wattage fogs to get thru those screens.

You know I was just thinking about that the other day as well. I think they look real good and would be a nice touch to a ZO6, but I agree it may reqiure a little more illumination to be effective.

I don't know if you are being silly but...

If you are talking about the stock wiring and harness it doesn't weigh that much.

Maybe with everything combined about 2-3 pounds.

The foglight housings when ordered thru Fitchner Chevy already come with the 37w bulbs. As was posted before you may want to upgrade to the 50w (I think) bulbs.
