Formula for converting VIN to production date?
If someone can supply me with this formula, I'll try to prepare some JavaScript that will allow all forum members to calculate this date. I think this would be an extremely cool feature for this site. Just give me the formula, and I'll try to do the JavaScript. I'll work with the administrators of this site to integrate my code into the site.
Why have this? Well, it would be cool in it's own rite. Also, I'm (selfishly) interested in having people report their production date and their oil consumption too.
