AS I`m sure most of you know I do a lot of courtesy delv. on Corvettes all over the country. I have been having a rash of problems with dealers doing the delv for my customers. These dealers are not held accountable by he Customer Satifaction Survey that is sent to each customer after purchaseing a car from Chevrolet, the selling dealer is. I would like to hear from the members that have had a courtesy delv. from dealers in their state that do have feelings for how a customer is treated even though they were not the selling dealer. If I could compile a list of these dealers to use in the future it would be very helpful.

c4c5 A dealer in Ct is what started this thread. My custome picked up his car today and it had swerl marks all over it. The dealer said they never touched it with a buffer. I dont think the plant buffs Corvettes before the leave.:(

I can relate

Hi Rick,
Well, I know it wasnt me, if you would like, share it with me via private message, and I can see what I could do.
If you like, I can see if I can help.
Your right, they dont buff at the factory, nor should they when they are delivered.
Best to you, c4c5,

unfortunatly most dealers are that way
i worked for a copier co for 33 years .got a new co van or car every 3 years my employer would do a fleet order through a dealer up north they would eventually get shiped to a local dealer near your home.the dealer would let you know when it was ready
you go to pick it up they throw the keys at you and show you where it is. tell you to unload your old car and park it over there some where.
the new car prep was a wash job and they made shure it moved under its own power
now i know i was not picking up a new vette but i worked in long island n.y. and in tampa fl. and it was always the same
the dealer unless they are making a nice profit dont give a shit!!!
