This place is a nightmare to deal with... I went in and look at one of their Z06. I told them I wanted a silver, which they didn't have one in stock, and they wanted $5k over sticker. They would not go down any lower. I told them that I'm not willing to pay over sticker for any car, and I would settle for a regular C5 if I can get a good discount... and guess what? All of their regular C5 coupes and convertibles are marked up too.. I was like, what the hell is going on? Forget this, I left after the salesman and the sales manager tried to BS with me about the reason for their marked up... I went and shopped around, and Van Chevrolet was willing to sell the Z06 for me at $2K over sticker... I left again... couple days later, the salesman from Frank Parra called back and I told him what they were offerred me at Van. The guy immediately told me that if I can come in that day, he can give it to me $2K over sticker.. yeah, they were trying to pull that "today only" kind of trick.. I told him what I was willing to pay for the car, I told him that I was serious about buying, so don't play around with me... He kept telling me that was the best he can do for me... he went on and on about how he could get fire for offering the car to me at $2K over sticker. i told him no thanks... They had the Silver Z06 that I wanted, so I went and deal with a fleet manager.. This guy was very nice, he flat out told me that the fleet price for this car right now is MSRP. After a little while, I was able to get my Z06 for under sticker... what a deal.... The salesman then called back about 3 days later, I told him that I already bought the car that he offered me $2K over sticker for under sticker. He asked me why I didn't ask for him. I told him, buddy, I told you the price that I was willing to pay for the car, I told you that I was serious, i don't have time to waste making the trip back and forth to the dealership, and you told me there was no deal. So, I went and make a deal with someone else..... Oh boy, he was pissed.. he then told me, OK...thanks...bye... I said "no problem"...
Frank Parra will not let you test drive any of their car, and their service depends on what kind of car you drove in with.. This is my third bad experience with them.. The other one was with their body shop. I took in my 92 convertible in to replace a rear bumper after a small accident. I got my car after three weeks and the paint was horrible. They couldn't fix the little crack on the rear panel.. They didn't even paint the whole rear piece. They fixed the little crack and just blend the paint in that little small section.. I took it back and complained and waited another week. Again, they still didn't do it right... The orange peel was so obvious on the rear bumper and it wasn't smooth at all. I asked the service manager why it looks like that. He told me that it needed to be wet sanded.. I told him, so why the hell didn't you do it? Why do you deliver the car to me this way after 4 weeks???? So, he asked me to wait, he took it right around the back to get the tech to wet sand it for me. By now, the paint is already harden and very hard to wet sand and it still look crappy... I don't know what kind of techs they have working in that bodyshop, but I don't think they know how to paint and repairs fiberglass. I got pissed and took my car out to my friend who own a little garage and he was able to repair the crack and repaint the whole thing for me perfectly. I don't know, but I was a little worried when I went to the back of parra's bodyshop because I demanded to know who was working on my car, I couldn't even communicate with the tech cause I couldn't understand a word of what he said.. All I know is that it doesn't matter what kind of car you bring in, a $50K corvette, or a $12K cavalier, they will put the same cheap ass paint job on your car......bad, bad, bad...
Sorry for the long post...... first timer..
