I have a question about operating ranges of oil temp in my FRC. I found answers on it for the Z06, but want to be sure there isn't a difference for my engine.

If I'm running between 75 and 90 mph, and not beating on it, my oil temp runs about 199 F. I assume, from what I've read that I'm easily ok at that temp, but just want to be sure.

Someone told me that there should be a 10 degree difference between coolant and oil, and I'm not sure, without installing an oil cooler, how to make that happen.

Thanks,

Dan

Hey Dan,

That's right about where mine runs under the same conditions. [email protected] Mph - [email protected] Mph...give or take a few degrees:D
Thanks Jason ...

Guess I still live in the dark ages of automobiles... Engine temps of 212+ F still give me the willies!
