It hasn't moved in almost a year. A 6 inch strip of Velcro is probably overkill anyway. I have hit it with a heavy stream of water from a hose and ~120 air pressure and no movement.

I think this is a great idea! I hate the front plate, but keep getting pulled over for no plate and don't want it to be a time after a trip to the local watering hole!

Any downside to this that I'm missing? Does the plate fit well under the cover?
