I had a problem with the fuel gauge not registering correctly. With a fill up it would only register 1/2 full. But after a few miles it would drop to a low fuel light, then eventually pop back up to 1/4 full etc... I finally brought it in to e serviced and they found the left side sensor wire was be "rubbed" by the float and was shorting out against the tank. They installed a new sensor and rerouted the wires. Things are working fine now.

Anybody have a TSB number for this?

I think that I may have the same problem, but my dealership does not know of any TSBs on this.

I didn't get the TSB number. There's no worry for fire since the wires carry extremely low voltage.
