What kind of gear or do our c5's take?? I think its synthetic but not sure, getting 3.90's put in and wanted to make sure.

I use 75w90 Mobile1 Synthetic in mine. Whatever kind you use, make sure it has the LSD additive in it.

LSD=limited slip differential.
in my opinion redline oil makes the best lubricants.

AMSOIL just came out with a new Severe Gear Extreme Pressure 75w90 last fall which is very well suited to the C5/Z06 differential. This is a PAO based full synthetic which comes with the friction modifier in it. I am running the previous version of this gear lube in my car, which sees exclusive track use, and will shift to this new gear lube when my supply runs out. I don't use the limited slip friction modifier and my diff doesn't chatter. :cheers:
