regarding museum delivery. Looks like almost 25% of our registered 2002 owners will be taking museum delivery. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Hopefully this trend will continue... the museum does ALOT to preserve and promote our Corvettes.

Kudos to all museum delivery participants! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Yep, only way I wanted to pick up my EB, is at the Museum. Also booked into the Museum Director's B&B the night before delivery.

I don't think we will be talking about the stock market....

Tell me more... I had just made my reservations at The Country Hearth Inn /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Im buying my Z06 with 1000 miles on it so i wont be able to get the museum delivery but after all this talk i think i might wanna take a drive out there. What do you guys think.....I live in Cali, would it be worth it to take a long drive to Bowling Green to check it out. And if you agree that i should, do i do it as soon as i get it or is it worth it to wait till the corvette bash they have every year????? Im really excited so a little input is very appreciated. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Red,

My 2 cents is wait for a bash to meet up with our group. Much more fun and more things going on... Labor day may be a good choice. Hundreds of vettes..

Where is the link at Vince?

Vince has a great story detailing the events regarding museum delivery.

Try corvettemuseum.com and learn more there. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

It is the only way to take delivery of a Corvette in my opinion... at least once /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

BTW... it is very very reasonably priced as an option on all Corvettes. A much better value than say.... body side moldings. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Only kidding boys... my 98 had 'em. I figured I would try it without 'em this time.

I'm rambling.... good night! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

Agent Z06, Wendell Strode and his wife have a pretty neat B&B called "1869 Homestead". Check it out at www.1869Homestead.com. I thought it would make the NCM delivery all that much more enjoyable - especially for my wife, who loves B&Bs.

Looks like a pretty neat place - we are booked in for the night of 8/22 - still assuming I can pick the car up the next day. Since my TPW got moved back a week, I will need to confirm delivery date with Judy Yanko on 7/19.

Manatee/Vince,
I can't believe that is you. When I was waiting to pick up my Red Z last Nov, I read that letter more than should be allowed. You were a celebrity to me. I lived by that letter and that picture of you in front of the museum with the Red Z.
I am not worthy to be sending this reply to you, please forgive me O Exhaulted one.

Thanks for the heads up!

I will be there August 5 for an overnight stay... as long as they have rooms with two beds. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

My girlfriend can't make the trip so I'm bringing a pal. Don't see us sharing a bed in a B&B. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
