One thing that may help you extend the life of your tires, is to balance your tires every six months or 6k miles, and align once a year, or 12k miles.

Had to replace mine at 12,450 miles  Picked up nails from construction area in both rear tires :(

Tread was getting close to wear bars anyway after two high speed days and a week end of auto-cross ;)

I was going to replace em in 30 days anyway ......have a weekend @ Robeing Road in November :D :D

You guys all drive too damn soft. :p 18,500 miles and 3rd set will be on before I get to 19,000. Fronts go first, as they should in a road race car. C4C5Specialist, rebalance at 6000? Heck, they are about all gone by that time. :D Like they say, "Drive it like you stole it!"

Replaced two fronts at 29k. Backs are still good. Think the previous owner didn't drive hard, or fast, just kind of far.

OOOps!!! Disregard! I'm just running straight run flats. Need to read more carefully.

I believe I still hold the record for the shortest amount of miles. We went to an Evolution Autocross school in NW Indiana last May. It was on the roughest, sharpest pavement I have ever seen. Worse than the seashell pavement in Florida. We had 155 runs on a new set of rear tires and corded them. That was less than 128 miles. Good program, bad location. Because of Heavy autocross usage, we have never had more than 1800 miles on a set of F1's. Went to Hoosiers, their cheaper and last just as long.

I got 6000 on the back (I just can't resist slipping the rear end out a little when turning on to a road) and close to 10k on the front. Thats with four hours track time and 40 min auto-x.

They last 4 Days

I believe Justin Bell has the record of conspicuous consumption:

Averages Four Days Use per Set
