Steve Cole told me the stock airbox is different on the '02, and that it has vanes now, and that they do the "straightning" of the air that was formerly done by the screen. He said all of the technical articles missed this point. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif
Hib, is this correct? If it is, you may not want to change the airbox, but it probabily would help to get more cold air into the intake by providing another source(cut a hole in the shroud) and direct the air to the intake.
