Frank , I confirmed that its made out of snake skin, they found that snake skin is very durable and long lasting...........

Reallly, its that super heavy duty clear plastic tape stuff, check out their FAQ's it explains everything.

This is a 3M film. The StonGard (www.stoneguard.com) company makes this product & does the install. They happen to have their HQ in Bellevue, WA and I visited them. I have since used a number of their products & even had a $650 M-B headlight unit replaced for $15! (this is StonGard's add'l. guarantee) I'm going to have the whole front end of the Z done.
