I got a used (1 year old)V1 with Laser and all of the stuff with it except the hidden display.

Question: If it is one year old does it need the Ka band enhancement upgrade and if does how much do they charge and will they do it in a reasonable timeframe? I thought I was getting the latest but realized I didn't. I may not get much Ka around here in AL. Their website at valentineone.com was no help at all. Just said no parts and therefore no upgrades.

Her name is Missy and she said said she is a college student at USC and she spent $1500 more at Cancun than she should have so she needed to liquidate some assets. Apparently Missy has a heavy foot and her relative who may have been the one paying the fines said she needed a V1. And that's the rest of the story.......... BTW there are currently 11 other V1 units for sale on ebay starting at $200 bid.
