I've tried DP glass restorer, but it only helped on the rear window slightly. Tried it w/ the Porter cable as well.
Windex didn't touch it either.
Any other suggestions?

TIA

What the hell is it? I doubt it's just water spots. Nothing on the paint? Kinda weird, I'd say!

I'd try, in this order:
1. Isopropyl Alcohol
2. Detail Spray
3. Clay Bar
4. Polish (whatever you use, Zaino, Adam's)
5. Rubbing Compound

Good luck,

Charlie

Try using a polish or compound with the PC. Use the most aggressive pad you have. Don't be afraid to give it some pressure. Repeat the process 2 or 3 times if needed.

Water spots on glass (especially Tinted) are sometimes the hardest stain to remove from a vehicles surface.

I have also heard that vinager works well too, but have never tried it.

Good Luck

Zaino has a nice glass polish. Use it with a buffer if you have one and just keep working it until they are gone, even if you have to buff that window for over an hour. Don't crank the buffer up too fast and keep feeling the glass to make sure it does not get too hot etc etc...

I was able to get minor scratches out of a friends Z06 windshield with this method. Any good glass polish will probably work but Zaino is the only one I have used and had good luck with it. Not on the new Z06 is it?

I have used #0000 steel wool and liquid Ivory soup to remove spots with great success. As to weather the glass on a vette is to soft I DON'T KNOW but I have never had a problem with American glass. I would give Adams a try first Keep us posted

PS If you need particulars on how I use the steel wool and Ivory soap PM me ( not that I'm a genius or anything )
