They partially repaved the only street leading to my work place, and my fenders, doors and quarter panels are covered with large spots of road tar. How do I safely remove them without damaging paint?

Unfortunately this will be an ongoing problem for a week or so. Thanks for your help.

WD40 and then wash.

Thanks ZEEE, WD40 worked like a charm. What else can I clean with that stuff? And like a fool all these years I've been using WD40 for lubrication and water displacement.

If your a Zaino user then use WD40 on the tar and then wash with water

Thanks Carl, but the tar got to the paint before the Zaino. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_mad.gif The Zaino arrived Monday afternoon /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif Thanks again.
