Help ladies and gents.

I am busy putting a coldair/ram air in tonight - and after I got the old shroud of and stuff... the radiator assembleis appear to be press fit/loose mounted.

Is this correct - or have I been driving around with a mis-assembled radiator assembly.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Yes. All that holds it in are the hoses and the plastic support at the top.

Thanks Tom. A little enlightening to find out with bits and pieces laying about you on the drive way and service manuals open on th work bench.

:)

At least I have no bits left over.

A question regarding the rebreath tube - thats ok to have venting through the shroud to the open air insteadof back into the airbox (which is now gone).?

Water can't be reingested through that tube can it?

Oh - and was sitting there revving to about 2000rpm with my head out the drivers door... just so I can hear the car ***WHHHHHOOOOOTTTT**** as it ***SLLUUUUURRRRPPPZZ***** that air in....

I sure hope that's the right sound - I like it :)

I am guessing when I get the long tube headers on tomorrow with the Borla XR straight pipe, I won't be hearing that cool sucking sound over the exhaust anymore.

I can't wait... :D

I use a small PCV filter that I get from autozone.
That tube goes to your A.I.R. pump then to the top of the headers/exhaust manifolds.
