Please!!!!!! I need help! My resolve is waning! Turning the M3 back to BMW in less than 40 hours, but Z06 not due until second week in March

. The thought of being without a cool car for a few weeks is driving me CRAZY. Please tell me that the wait will be well worth it. There are way too many nice cars available in the $50K price range. I might do something really stupid

, like buy something else. Help!

Two or three weeks! What's the big deal. I haven't driven my Z06 in 4 months due to snow, salt, and sand. It will probably another month or so before our roads clear up. Man, two or three weeks, you've got it made!

Ok,here's what you do. Get on line and order all the goodies that you got to have (custom mats, Zaino, intake, etc.) Next buy a couple of recent magazines that feature the Z06.

Then pick out a personal Lic. Plate and order it. If you can, get ahold of the Z06 video that comes with the car and watch it (over & over & over...)Finally, after all is done, sit back and have a cold one (or cocktail, my favorite) and think about the best damn car there is right now (for around $50k). If that doesn't do it SCREAM!

It WILL be worth the wait...hang in there.

If you can't wait, find one at another dealer, they are out there. I ended up finding one at another dealer because I couldn't wait. If you do wait, make sure your dealer that ordered it has an allocation. After putting my original dealer on the spot, I realized that the dealer was dicking me over and didn't have an allocation and that I would be waiting until hell froze over. If your dealer does have an allocation and everything is on the up and up then, trust me, this car is well worth the wait.

Thanks for the support guys. And thank you Kevin for the offer I will take you up on that.

I've thought about getting some mods, but I have no idea which way I want to go. I've also been trying to come up with a cool license plate for the car. I really admire those of you who have had to wait for your cars, or even worse have it but can't drive it due to poor weather. Evidently, I didn't inherit the patience gene from my parents.

It really helps knowing that I'm not alone with this, and that others have survived "The Wait." Thanks a bunch.

BTW: Where can I get the video tape for the car? I've already got the cocktails.

About the video...check with the Dealer, mine had two of them for folks like us that either had to wait or couldn't decide. Good Luck....Hang in there!

Well, OK, I have no car

The M3 is gone.

Enterprise furnished me with a lovely silver base model Bonneville, which for some reason has a spoiler/wing thing on the trunk. The car is still trying to get to 60 mph, so I can't determine 0 to 60 time. Does G-Tech measure in hours?

This wait is going to be tough, and my local Jaguar dealer keeps lowering his price on the convertible. Give me strength!!!

I was without a Vette for months waiting for My Z. I ordered in late August, and received it in late November. I was having serious withdrawals, and was constantly at dealers looking at other cars. I was HUNGRY!!
But take everyones advice here...WAIT!
You will not regret it!
