There's the bad part of this sort of thing. The stuff that puts folks at odds, The best Corvette hasn't been built yet. Once that fact is realized there's no room for disagreement.
I would never "flame" any capable vehicle. Particularly one that's "family".

No doubt, every year they improve. We are definitely "family". We are all C5 Bruthas!!
Just signed up! Nice to see a forum dedicated to the Z06 and although I don't own one, I have driven one or two and have a little insight regarding the car. I know a little about racing too.
I do have a 2K FRC, so I suppose that makes me a cousin of some sort.
Here's looking forward to the goings on here! Hope I'm welcome...

Absolutely right Frank! I have never understood folks not being excited about their cars. I never tire of anyone talking up Corvettes.
I have a personal taste for FRC's. I'm a roadracer more than anything, however; I have learned a lot from drag folks and circle trackers too. It's all good.
There's some 'vettes I prefer over others, make no mistake. FRC's are my passion. No C5 sucks. I'll chime in when I have something to add and listen because I always have something to learn.

Took a laps or 2 to get up to temp and after that they were very predictable.
But I think the larger rolling diameter of the 19/20's is throwing the Active...
Hard to believe its been 17 years of ownership, 112000 total miles - 5 years, 82000 miles & 2 LS6s, 12 years & 30000 miles on the LS7 Z07 upgrade, 5 sets of wheels later and we still enjoy this car immensely.
Here are the various setups and wheels the car has had since new, progressing from OEM...

I like the look of the OEM C6 guards and want to install a set on my C5-I know there are carbon fiber ones out there but they seem too large to me. I can't seem to find a vender that sells them for a C5-the only thing I have seen is people modifying the C6 versions to fit a C5. Anybody know of a...
