This afternoon my 2004 Z06 developed a horibble grinding noise when releasing the clutch pedal in first gear. (taking off from a stop) The noise starts when the clutch starts engaging and stops when fully engaged. I can also feel a virbration in the shifter at the same time.

The noise and vibration is only present when taking off in first gear.

I have 6,500 miles on my car and had the clutch replaced about 500 miles ago due to a sticking clutch problem.

It's back to the dealer on Monday. Am I looking a throw out bearing?

Sounds like broken fingers on the pressure plate. If thats what it is, you don't have too many engagements left before it quits.
