I am in the process of removing my front wheel to repair some minor curb scratches on the wheel (I hate when that happens!). I have the cap off the wheel, but am unsure how to remove the plastic lug nut caps. I tried to pry gently with a screwdriver, but no luck. Any suggestions would be appreceiated.

Thanks,

Mark

Follow Frank's advice...a 3/4" socket or wrench fits perfectly, and if you want to change your gray caps for black ones the GM part number is 10028614. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Frank,

Thanks for the quick reply. You are of course correct and thanks for speaking in layman's terms. I still was unsure of what you meant by unscrewing the caps, but the "lefty loosy and rightsy tightsy" did it!!

Thanks again!

Zipper,

How do the black ones look?? Sounds good. Did you change to black?

Thanks for the pic Harley, you took the lug nut caps right out of my mouth. (or is it, words?)

Fanatical: Yes.

Zippy /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif having fun on the forum!
