New member here...just saying hello. Picked up the Z06 last week, I'm a moderator over at LS1.com and Torquecentral.com, coming out of an '01 10th Anniversary Firehawk (RIP). Love the Z...looks like a great site!

Welcome TAMUz06. I know you'll love the car.

BTW, it's good to see another Aggie out here. Gig 'em.

Small World.

I am a Texan born and raised. Born in Bay City TX and raised in Tomball TX. Graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville Tx.

Met my wife at Sam Houston and her family lives in College Station on Southwood off of Southwest Parkway.

I also worked at IBM in Grapevine TX. That was out at the Southlake facility.

Now here is the kicker. If I lived in Tx, I could drive my Z year round. Instead I move to Minnesota where there are about 3 months that I can drive my car. Miles to date:2401 as of yesterday. Picked up in Nov at the museum. Keeping in mind that it is 947 miles from the museum to my house in MN.

Just thought I would relay that info on.

Can you tell that I miss TX?
