Well I don't even have my ZO6 yet, but my Ripper is already here. I'm sorta disapointed that it doesn't have the adjustable stops like in all the pics and tech info on them and like their F-body shifters that I have and have had. The Ripper comes with a boot to protect itself, a new gasket (plastic so it wont rip I'm sure) and new bolts and washers. Nice piece really.

On my '96 Z-28 I first ordered the Hurst Competition shifter (the non billet, non adjustable stop one) and broke it twice. I also had horrible grinding noises on shifts with it. I slapped a Ripper on it and the grinding went away, except for some short slight grinding on no clutch powershifts :0

I will put a Hurst shifter in my 4-spd '72 Vette because that is the only shifter I've ever seen for it. And I think they are $320 or so for that!!!

At this point I hope that the Hurst isn't any better than the Ripper -- I'd hate to have to take my console apart AGAIN. I just don't want to want a new shifter! LOL
