Beggar- Have you checked your dealer's allocations? I got stung last year when I ordered my Z.... wouldn't want to see anyone else go through that. They can't sell it if they can't get it /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Agent, all I know is that last year the dealer sold 10 Z06's and I was told that they expect at least as many this year. Is that considered a relatively large allocation?

beggar- That is more than my dealer sold last year...however, I would ask to see their monthly allocation table. Your dealer should know how many Z06's he has allocated for the next couple of months. Hi Guys,

I am new to the forum. I placed my order for a MY 2002 Z06 last Wednesday! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
My dealer told me today (a week later) that they don't have any information on when the car will be built /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif, but that they should know around 6/27. The dealer says Chevy is not releasing any 2002 allocation information to them until after then. Does this make sense?? /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif

They have 4 2001 Z06s on the lot so I am pretty sure they have will have some allocation, but I don't want to get burned. I don't understand how the ordering system works, can anyone explain it?

When can I expect to have an order number and/or TPW?

I ordered my 01 sw/mod red in April. The dealer has the capability to log on to a network and track the car as it progresses through the ordering cycle. My TPW changed twice during the process. All you need to do is find the individual at the dealership who does the ordering and they can keep you up to date. Pohanka Chevrolet printed me a weekly status off that ordering system so I could keep it with all my paperwork. The weekly updates added to my excitement... and this IS the Best Vette Yet!!!!!!
