..got my Z06 out of storage. I put it away for the winter on 11/14 when our first snowstorm hit, put a charger on it, and covered it up, and haven't looked at it since then.

Since then we have had 265" of snow (6" away from the all time record)..

The roads are clear of snow (but have a lot of sand on them which is used to help winter traction), and my driveway is about 75% clear, so I decided to go for it.

It sure is a lot different than driving a Ford Expedition (my winter car). Hey we Yoopers aren't going to let a little snow in the yard from having a little fun./phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

WTF is a Yooper?

In Michigan the state is comprised of two peninsulas. A lower and an upper. The upper is typically referred to as the U.P. (upper peninsula) Hence, the people from the U.P. are effectionately referred to as Yoopies. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Those trolls (what we affectionately called people from below the Macinac Bridge which separates the lower, from the upper peninsula) can't get it right. It is YOOPER, not YOOPIE. Anyway I am not a native Yooper, I am from Ohio, originally.

The UP isn't even connected to Michigan, it is connected to Wisconsin and Minnesota. It was the prize that Michigan got for not going to war with Ohio over an area around Toledo /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

All right, I do remember this time of the year very fondly, waiting for the roads to improve enough to take out your summer toy. Also remember the roads made a mess of a clean car though. I heard you had some additional snow last night /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif Oh well come late May you'll be pretty well assured that you won't get much more snow until October.

April Fool's Day is the BEST day to take any Z out. I was just thinking if trading mine for a G3...

Dude, I feel your pain. Winter comes early, and stays late, in the UP. I used to travel to Duluth/Superior once in awhile years ago. You could go up there in April and May and freeze your ass off. I am taking my Z out of storage tonight! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
