....mesh screens. Very racy NASCAR look. I could never figure out why the Vette engineers didn't put them in the front brake duct openings as well as the back. And some very inventive aftermarket tinkerers have been toying with the idea of additional places to put it. Here are the places I have thought of can anybody think of others? Does anyone make Titanium screen?

The SS screen comes in 36" and or 48" width rolls up to 100' in 306 or 316 Stainless. $75 minimum purchase, Welded or unwelded. Different size openings in mesh and screen.

1. Front Air Ducts (standard)
2. Rear Brake Ducts (standard)

3. Front Brake Ducts (available)
4. Side Cowl Vents (available)
5. Rear Lower Fascia Vents (available)
6. Lower Rear Exhaust ID Plate (available, one guy made his ID plate from SS screen)

7. Upper Cowl Duct/Vent (in front of driver, under hood, below Lt wiper)
8. Radiator Opening Duct (a larger 1/4" - 1/2 " screen would be necessary, some full race cars in GT-1, LeMans Series etc. Have them)
9. Power Steering Cooler protection (as above)
10. Front License Plate Opening ( if vented for air induction or as protection for LeMans style lighting)
11. Rear License Plate Opening (decoration/protection on street cars or to cover opening if used as rear vent on race cars.)
12. Headlight Protection
13. Radiator inlet duct on after market racing nose (ala C5R)
14. Inlet and/or Protection for Chevy T1 Transmission Cooler
15. Inlet and/or Protection for Chevy T1 Differential Cooler
16. Door Speaker Grill covers/protection
17. Auxillary Front Brake Cooling NACA duct (in high pressure area underside of front bumper ahead of front air dam)
18. Auxillary Front Brake Cooling duct (in side front nose, similar to rear brake cooling ducts
19. Aftermarket Highrise Hood Rear Opening/Vent/Inlet Duct
20. Aftermarket Hood, LT-1 Type Radiator Vent
21. Aftermarket Hood, Mallett ZL-1 type opening (Front Vent & Rear Reverse Duct)
22. Driver/Crew Fresh Air Inlet Duct
23. Side Marker Light Protection
24. Front Turn Signal Light Protection
25. Rear Brake Light Protection.
26. Rear Third Brake Light Protection
27. Aftermarket "Bottom Feeder" Air inlet
28. MTI Air Induction Scoop

Have I forgotten anything?? I think I have found enough places to put 100' of this stuff!

You could make a set of chainmail armor out of it, or if so inclined, a driving suit so that you matched your car. Or heck you could take the side windows out of the car and replace them with it!

How about....

.... A Stainless Steel Mesh Car Cover!

Maybe we could attatch it Permanetly and it would even be there as we drive around town, something like that inflatable bubble car cover.

My wife likes the idea, she's going to lock me inside!

How about inside the exhaust tips. Of course you will need to clean them quite often, but the will keep anything from crawling into your muffler.

Or, you could take out the mod red inserts, and replace them with S/S mesh.

Or, you could even replace the carpet.

The speaker grills are another option, or you could cover the door panel.

The headliner perhaps?

How about replacing the hood insulation?

An engine cover?

C'mon people, help, I am running out of good ideas here!

:)

Heck YES!

One of those "Panama Jack" hats. Just sub in the S/S mesh.

And if you sweat, the hat won't break down over time.

There you go!

Oh, one other.

Make a piece of screen to go on the inside of the wheel. Sorta like those dust covers they sell. Just bolt between the rotor and the wheel. Can you just see it!

How about a Stainless Steel Mesh Bikini for my wife?

I think I'll try it out on my Victoria Silvstedt doll when she arrives from Playboy

How about cargo area covers (those holes).... then we can keep livestock in them :)

Maybe a mesh partition? Kid storage?

If you roll it up you can make a mesh steering wheel like those old chain ones the low riders had...

You could replace the windows for that screened in porch feel! No bugs... but yet feels like outdoors!

Cule. I have tears.....

How about screens for your sunglasses? And one for the fuel filler tube? Wrap the antenna to improve reception? In general, anywhere there's a hole.

It must be Fridaaaaaaaaaay!

:D :D  :guiness:

does pretreating aqnd spraying the screens with anything like pam or wd40 or silicone help get dead buhs off the stainless mesh after the bugs have gone splat? Also, anyone know where I can order a replacement z06 pen like the one that comes in the glove box.
