I have seen countless C5s both in photos and live, including my Z, with the dreaded Bumper Sag. What's with this? I got my reinforcements from ACI, but if this problem is so prevalent why hasn't GM done anything about it?

Not sure how prevelant it is, but no saggy butts on either of my Zs.

I agree that more than half the Vettes I see have the problem, my car did not have the problem but I added the ACI parts anyway.

I certainly have "the sag" -- however, BOTH sides have sagged exactly the same way, and so it looks like the bottom rear edge is "textured" that way.

(If it were just kind of warped on one side or something, I'd have done something about it by now. However, like I said before, it looks almost intended on my car.)

KM... I thought the same thing, but finally gave the Shark an ACI "butt-lift"...looks much better. I guess for $50K there are a few things ya gotta do for yourself: •put in a good billet short shifter •CLB to prevent a ride on a tow truck •fix the rear bodywork •put in a divider panel for better A/C & stereo performance...etc.

OK guys, I am going to show my ignorance. I didn't realize that I had a bumper per se, and if I have bumper sag, I don't even know it. I guess ignorance is bliss.

What does bumper sag look like?
