It will void your warranty, but check with your sales manager, he might let it slide /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif.

I've heard of about 20 - 30 HP increases
with the off-road X-pipe.

Install a set of oxygen senor simulators in order to keep the computer fooled, this will also take care of any problems you might experience. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Steve,
I'll let you know. I have a Bassani "off road" pipe on the way. I got my 02 sims from West Coast Corvette on Fri. and Bassani tells me my pipe should show up on Mon. or Tues./phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif I put a set of B&B shortie headers and a PRT cat back system on the Z last week and it sounds GREAT./phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif The elimination of my cats should make it sound that much better and run much stronger.
Good luck with your decision.

Ok Steve,
I got my X-pipe put on the end of last week. That completes my system from the engine back. The pipe did away with most of the popping and cracking I was getting with just the headers and cat-back in place. So far, the car runs great and with the 02 sims I haven't had any computer code problems. The car has a rock solid idle @800RPM. I have a dyno appointment set up for next Fri. 8/3 so we'll see how much more HP I'm making. From the seat of the pants feel I would say it's a nice gain but who knows. One thing is for sure, the car sounds BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gifTake Care,
