I know that we have had a couple of events at the NCM/Factory, unfortunetly I have been unable to attend due to my family commitments and autocross schedule etc. etc.
Incedently a flight instructor once told me that a true pilot never lets an occupation or marrige interfere with his fliight time....one must have priorities, you know!
Anyway, the outings that I most enjoyed in the past were my ventures to the Callaway shop in Conn.
I was thinking that we might as a group think about going to a tuners shop for a tour on a Saturday. Like maybe Mallett's near Cleveland Ohio or Lingenfelter's in Indiana. Those shop tours can be very informative and enlightening. I think Labor Day weekend might be a good date for a start.
I also think we should attempt to show up enmass at Indy for the F1 in September. I remember in my younger years how just before the start of the F1 at Watkins Glen they would have a Parade lap around the course for America's true sports car. It was fantastic seeing all those Vette's at once on the track! It was great to see the Porsche's and Ferrari's bringing up the rear!
