Hey Guys,

I just picked up my 2003 Z06. 24k original miles, bone stock. Only issue, its on the ORIGINAL tires from '03....LOL. Not dry-rottted, but they are rock solid.

I cannot seem to find tires at the stock sizes anywhere...Any recommendations? I see some people may run a 275 up front?

265/40/17 Front
295/35/18 Rear

I'm looking for a good Summer tire that will last me a few seasons at least. I don't plan on driving the car in the winter.

Any help you can provide would be awesome! Only put 200 miles on the car so far, and I loved every second of it!

Depends on your mission. The Continentals are not bad. I ran a set for several years, but they are not the best traction. If you do track days, I would recommend you go to Tire Rack and buy a set of wheels and tires from their approved optional tire list. I bought Michelin Pilot Cup 2s; 295/30/19 on the rear and 265/35/18s on the front. Took them to Road America for a track day and they were awesome. No problems with body or frame clearance.

I installe Contiental Extreme Contact and couldn't be happier. Wet, dry cold, it does it all

If you don’t have to deal with cold weather driving, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S is hard to beat. Quiet, sticky, and a 300 TW is solid. I recently ran a track day on them and was very impressed, even coming off 200TW tires. Excellent in the rain also.

I ended up going with the Pilot Sport 4S tires! They didn't make a 295/35 for the rear, so I went with the closest I could get at 285/35. Still a massive tire and has got to have more grip than the tires on there now!
