Anyone here take this school?

I talked to Justin at the C5 Registry Birthday Bash recently and attended his seminar there...
Was quite impressed with him and the school!

Am planning on taking the 3 day school when schedule permits, anyone else considering it?

Would be really cool if we could arrange for the class to consist of Z06 Forums members!

I have heard great things about his school, I was planning on a high speed school this fall finally decided on the Bragg Smith school in November--Z06 corvettes and Las Vegas being the determining factor.

Hope this helps

Gordy:

Thanks...I have completed the 3 day B-S Phase I class, and am now interested in the J-B school since it is closer to Detroit than Pahrump, Nevada.

BTW, For more info Justin Bell toll free number is 1-877-468-3666, and their email is www.justinbellGT.com.

Zippy, it's located real close to me. I did have a chance to meet these guys at a local Vette event back in Feb. They had a couple of QS Z06'S with them. If you decide to go through with it let me know I may join you. REGARDS,LES,

I was at the Moroso a week ago to see the jetcar national drag races and the JBGT garage was right near the start area, with the doors open, so I snapped this picture of my car's twin brother--with some decorations of course. I want to go, anybody know how much it is for the class or classes.

Here's an update: I talked to Mr. Ken Fengler today regarding the JB Driving School 3 day program. Ken works for JB.
They have open classes for Aug 8-10, Sept 12-14, and Sept 26-28th. He will offer these classes at their discounted summer rates, which is $600 off the regular rate. We can get further discounts if we sign up 4 people for one of the 3 day classes, and still another discount if 6 people take the class together! I agreed to not post the discounted rates, but you can call Ken at his office, 561-776-0288 or mobil phone number, 954-931-0501 for more details. Ken informed me that lunch is included each day, and a student/instructor dinner for one night is all part of their package. Another benefit is a group discount rate at the nearby Embassy Suites Hotel! For those flying in, West Palm Beach airport is the closest, but Ken said one might get better air fare by using Ft. Lauderdale's airport.

They use Camaros, Corvette Coupes, and of course Z-06's during the 3 day driving school!

I am thinking very seriously of signing up for the September 26-28 class!!!! Anyone else interested?

I'd be interested since I only live 30 minutes away from Moroso. I was just there last week for Test n Tune and use to go all the time for motorcycle races.. it's a nice track.

Zippy, post this on the other forum too... last week I went to the strip with 4 other C5'ers and I think they might be interested among others down here.

Of course I'd have to reserve the Z06 if I was gonna go /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Maroone Chevy in Green Acres (W.Palm Beach area) gives you a 1/2 day at the school when you purchase a new C5 from them. My 2002 ZO6 is on order with them and when I go to pick up the car I'll do a 1/2 with the school. If the school is as good as I'm hearing, a group of us up here in the northeast will go down for the 3 day school. Done the Bragg-Smith school so I'll have something to compare to.

Don:

Just so there is no mis-understanding, Ken said the 3 day class consists of student rotation between the Z06, Camaro, and C5 Coupe.

I've decided to go to Bragg-Smith Level 2 rather than start over with a level one in someone else's course. I think price wise it will work out better too even though I could drive to Florida. Zippy, your thoughts on not going to next B-S level???

Felkebg:

It was a tough toss up, but decided on JB in Florida because it is closer, and I may drive there, and I want to try a different track.

Bob:

Glad to see you on this forum! You will just love the Z06, especially on the track!
See you at Carlisle, or NCM on Labor Day? Hope so!

I took JB's Hennessey Viper class in March '00. Very well run school. Good instructors. Learned a lot about performance driving. Overall I would recommend the experience. My only complaints:
1) HOT
2) Some instructors were not enthused to be there, others were very helpful.
3) Not enough seat time to get REALLY comfortable on the track to do any better than 85%.
4) Heal-toe sucks in a viper
5) HOT

Otherwise, I'd highly recommend it.
