KIRBAN install questions... Help, please!
Hey all,
I have the car console all apart right now, hence the urgency of my message here (I need to get the install done, and the car back together asap).
Some Kirban install questions:
1) Is it ok to use "clear" silicone as opposed to the recommended "blue" silicone between the tranny housing and new shifter base?
2) Is it ok to use LOCK WASHERS on the supplied bolts when bolting the Kirban shifter down to the tranny housing?
3) Can the stock RUBBER BOOT/PAD be reused over top of the new shifter base, even though it doesn't sit the way it was intended for the stock shifter?
