11.9 1/4 mile, that's rather dissapointing for the money and specs listed, 510hp and 500 torque. I would imagine that Lingy's company, (may John RIP,) would have tested the car throughly and that those numbers are as good as it gets, so perhaps the new C6 Z06 might have trouble even breaking the 11 barrier?

Last I checked the GT40 and new Vipers run mid to high 11's. I know were talking about insanely fast vehicles here, but if my LS6 405hp can get me mid to low 12's, I'm not biting on a new LS7 Z06 if it can't at least run high 11's, preferrably mid 11's.

So less power (and cubes), more weight, and most likely costs more than a C6Z... Hoping for customers too impatient to wait for the Z doesn't sound like the best marketing strategy. How are the tuners going to compete when the Z is actually on the market?

Can't remember where I saw it, but I read somewhere that the new Z06 did the quarter mile in either 11.5 or 11.7 seconds at 127mph.

Car and Driver posted an article several months ago stating the manufacturer estimates [email protected] That is very impressive. However, I think the trap speed will be closer to 123-124, which is still awesome. I can't wait to mine.

Magazines hitting zero to 60mph in 3.7 seems pretty dam fast to me...

What did the C5 Z06 do in the hands of car and driver..

Compare the two and then decide...yet the price is wacked but then Lingenfelter usually gets top dollar no matter which model Corvette they work on..

I'm sure its well deserved if a bit high.

Sounds like a nice option but I don't think it will stand up to the new Z.
I could be wrong but I don't think so.
Just my opinion.
