Hi guys and gals:

I was unhappy with the cost of the current Euro kits on the market so I had someone design a higher quality, lower cost harness kit (this one is automotive OEM grade, with no cheesy crimped connections like I've seen on existing harnesses) and am in the process of putting our first kits together.

The red/amber kit will consist of four red/amber assemblies and the wiring harness plus online installation instructions with color photos for a total of xxxxx plus shipping. This is at least $40 to $60 less expensive than any other red/amber kit I've ever seen before, which I think is a great value.

The red/clear kit will be the same except with red/clear assemblies, of course, and will sell for xxxxxx. This is at least $60 to $110 less expensive than I've seen anywhere else.

If you are interested, I could also make the harness itself available for sale if you chose to get the assemblies from your favorite GM source. The harness alone would retail for xxxxxx. This is $30 less than the only other place I could find that sells the harness by itself.

For a quick view of how easy it is to install this kit, please visit http://www.c5forum.com and then click on "Do It Yourself." From there, click on "Install European Taillights" near the bottom (I wrote these myself) and you'll see that this is about a half hour project - it really is very easy and reversible.

I challenge you to find such great prices combined with my company's excellent customer service and personal experience with what we sell. I plan to have them up for sale in our online store by this Sunday evening at

Corvette Store </FONT s>

if you are interested.

Be sure to read our "Testimonials" and "Events and Sponsorship" section to see what we're all about.

Just a quick follow-up on the Euro headlight plug-n-play harness I had developed for us: I'll be installing this on Monday if all goes well, and should have it up in our online store by Monday night or Tuesday assuming testing has gone smoothly.

If you need anything else or are interested in some electrical products that you think might be popular, please let me know. I can get nearly anything produced for us.

Thank you.

I was unhappy with the cost too Brain, but couldn't you have offered these prices before I bought mine, say last year.

Sorry, Carl. It took some time to get the harness completed and tested. Hopefully others can benefit from the package now.

Maybe there would also be some interest in a whole Euro lighting package - say the headlamps, taillamps, side markers, and all harnesses included in one package. Hmmm...

Tom, first off, thanks for the nice comments. After several website revisions, I'm happiest with the current one. Glad you also liked it.

As for the clear Euros, they are ready (actually lots of action this weekend cleared out my remaining stock, so I'll get more on order tomorrow) right now. They're in the "What's New" or "Exterior Accessories" pages if you want to see pricing (can't be beat!).

I'll find out about the shift light - sounds like a great idea.

Would your rear light kit be easily removable so that you can change it back to stock when you sell your Vet?

Hi Tony:

If you consider a 10 minute swap job easy, then yes! The kit requires cutting one wire under the dash, but I'm looking into a way to make this non-permanent and including the part with the kit. Either way, it's very easy to reattach the wire later.

I'm in! Though, I'm not sure the mail went through - got 3 pieces back, and one of them was a bounce that was just jibberish.

Red and clear should look quite nice I think...

Hey Redshift...

Was just curious as to when you expect those tails to ship - I'm anxious.

Thanks!

ASAP - I just ordered a ton of this stuff and it should be arriving any day now. When it does the several backorders we have for these kits will ship out. Sorry about the delay, sir!<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Wasn't worried, just anxious, so no need for apologies here.

Thanks for the update.

I think the shift light is a great idea. Its on the DIC, at least on the M6, but it is very inconspicuous there. However, that does mean that the signal for a light is already available to an electronic type guru.

Sure do. Both sets are in stock. For status on all of our products, check the Product Status page - it usually has up to date information. Each product also has a real-time inventory indicator which should be accurate even if the Product Status page is not, because it's tied into our backend inventory.

Hope this helps!
