do all Z06' come with a magnetic drain plug?

i know it's been said the some do or some don't. was it ever determined that they are suppose to??

Mine did not. I got one from the dealer and installed it when I changed oil the first time. Cost was around 3 bucks.

Mine didnt come with one, nor have I heard anyone having one. BUT they are readily available at the dealer, mine was $1.65. But for $3 its a good thing. I dumped shavings out at 434 miles and at 798. Installed mag plug then and checked at 1200 miles and it had filings on it! Also went with the DELCO GOLD filters-any little bit of help cant hurt. Now at 1800 mi and no oil consumption yet. Mine did not. Furthermore, I do not remember anyone posting that their vette did. The magnetic drain plug is the same one that fits the Suburban.

I did not get a magnetic oil pan drain plug with any of my C5's, but always replace my stock one with GM part # 88891787.

FYI: The GM Ultraguard Gold UPF 44 Oil Filter is GM part # 25329389.

If any one wants to change their stock gray plastic lug nut covers with black ones the GM part # is 10028614.
