Memory seat problems?

Any of you ever open the car and have to press the button to get the seat to come back, then if you do it again the seat goes ALL the way back and jams against the rear panel? Like making growling noises and stuff?

It's rare and I'm still trying to find out the sequence that causes it....

No.

Never heard that before. I hope I don't get crushed against the wheel someday.

Two Z06's, mine delivered Jan. 9th.....my buddy's delivered Jan. 28th.

Both cars have a problem with the memory seat, the seat does not return to the set position when getting in all the time.

Mine works most of the time, the other vette....less than 50 percent. We just hit the memory set button to move the seat if it messes up.

I am having the same problem as ZO6 addict. I have not figured out what it is doing. Sometimes I get in and have to press the memory button and sometimes I do not. Its a little weird but the seat is working fine. <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by N4C5S:

Of course you all know that the only way for easy entry to work is to use the fob right?

And for some reason my #1 fob is #2 memory, and vice versa....not worth takin to dealer over...

Never did care for so many electronic, problematic, hard to diagnose, complex,(are they really necessary on "the quickest, most agile Corvette we've ever built") things like memory options.
?

Just my two sense

I'll experiment to see exactly what makes it happen. You have to do some weird combination of unlocking with fob, pressing the mem button, and unlocking again and pressing button again....

I never had the jamming half of this but unless we lock the system fully down we always have to use the memory button upon entering the vehicle.

I disagree about the electronics (when they work). I really like the little six inch ride I get in my seat every crank up and it will save on my bolsters as every drivers side car wears there and splits the leather eventually if you keep it any time. If you have not been using the "easy access" feature, I recommend it. The only exception is if you are too tall to need it.
