We had great weather for the 1st x-cross 4/8. Car did great, course was alittle tighter than what I liked, I like a wide open higher-speed course that allows 2nd gear, but, hey, it was a blast! First time x'ing in the Z, it felt much lighter and responsive then my previous 99 MN6 Z51 coupe did in previous xcross meets. Need more seat time to use more of the car. I like this turning stuff!! Can't wait for more road-course efforts at Waterford, then Grattan!!

I also ran my first Auto X with my Z06 a few weeks ago. The car did great. I run out of New Orleans which is the home of some off the best race prepared corvettes running in BP SCCA class. I beat all the cars with the exception of one. I lost by 0.2 seconds to a Jim Mckamey build super prepared Corvette with 600hp driven on that day by Jim Mckamey himself. For those that have not heard of Jim, he was a National driving instuctor for what in presently Evolution driving school.

I can't say enough about the performance of the car. I am also running the Hossier Road Race compond. I think I could have gotten a nother second out of Auto X compond tires.
