Z06 production #'s as of January 15, 2001 build week:

Total production: 2959 (15% of all C5 prod.)
Red: 830 (24%)
Black: 911 (31%)
Silver: 695 (23%)
White: 207 (7%)
Yellow: 316 (11%)

Black Interior: 2097 (71%)
Mod. Red Interior: 862 (29%)

Memory: 2350 (79%)
Mats: 2915 (99%)
B/S molding: 1402 (47%)
CD: 2925 (99%)
Cassette: 34 (1%)
License frame: 1639 (55%)

There are also some curious listings for Z06 production as follows:

Option Code AR9 for European style seats (?) shows 212 (7%) made.

Option Code FE9 for Federal Emission Certification shows 2207 (75%) made.

Option Code JL4 for Active Brake Control shows 300 (10%) made.

Any guesses on these last three?!

JL4 is just the active handling code. I thought this was standard on all Vettes now.

I agree that JL4 is for active handling. The full production #'s show all coupes and convertibles have this but only 10% of the Z06's?

I also don't understand the Euro numbers as I thought the Z06 couldn't be exported to Europe.

Maybe these are data entry errors.

Direct from my sources...

The manufacturer of the Z06 wheels is only able to produce enough wheels for 10 Z06s per day. That is 3 month old information. But looks like that may be on target.
