MidWest dealer who "deals" on Z06s (was: SPAM)

I just sent in my deposit on a torch red 2002 Z06 and have one "locked in" (on order) promised for delivery in late August. I live in Northern CA and arranged for a courtesy customer delivery in my locale. Sort of like NCM Delivery option program but without any need to pay extra for it. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Bernard Chevrolet in Libertyville, IL is offering great prices on ANY new Corvette and I highly recommend you check it out.

Bernard has a large new Corvette allocation, including Z06s, for 2002, and can order any color/options you desire. They are accepting orders now for late Summer delivery, subject to factory availability.

Bernard can arrange to "drop ship" your new
Z06 directly from Bowling Green factory to a local dealer near you anywhere in the USA. They call this "customer courtesy delivery" option (no additional delivery charge).

Its probably the best alternative to finding a "good deal" if your local dealer is not allocated very many Corvettes or simply won't deal on a new Z06 because either he has no idea when he'll get one or would rather sell any that he may be getting to the highest bidder. ;-(

Craig Hanson, Corvette Sales Mgr at Bernard
Chevrolet is offering straight up, no B.S. deals, BELOW MSRP!!! (How much lower? That's between you and him. I can't say how much I saved as I've been sworn secrecy, but do not let that stop you from trying to score your best deal). /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

If per chance you're shopping for a leftover 2001, you should also call Craig ASAP. He had a 2001 Torch Red in stock as of a few days ago and may still have it. Don't know what else they have, but certainly worth a phone call to find out.

Again, when you call, be sure to ask for CRAIG!!! He is the guy you want to talk to and can "make you a good deal". If he is unavailable, just leave a message on his voice mail and please tell him Dennis D. (in CA) referred you. I told Craig to expect a few of my internet forum buddies to call in the next few days.

Bernard is located in Libertyville, IL and their phone no. is 1-847-362-1400 and once again, be sure to ask for CRAIG HANSON.

I'm so happy with the deal I got from Craig, a case of beer is already on its way to Libertyville. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Good luck and please let me know if Craig is able to help you purchase a Z06 at a decent price.

San Jose,

Be sure to specify California Emissions when you finalize your order. While the Z06 is 50 State emissions compliant, your visit to DMV may be easier with the Cal emissions label on the doorpost and under the hood.

Also, be aware that the cooperating dealer in Ca is likely to add a prep fee to ready your car and to perform the mandatory smog check on new vehicles here. This can cost a few hundred dollars. jerboa /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Only 49 hits since I posted this. I'm going to change the title of the original post, because this is not really SPAM. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Yes, Jerboa is correct. Sorry, I neglected to mention that. But for a few hundred more to the delivering dealer in so-called "prep fees" you'll likely save thousands on the purchase (from the originating dealer . . . Bernard).

It is important to keep in mind, there is NO extra fee whatsoever for the "drop ship" of the vehicle to your local dealer as its already pre-paid in the purchase at Bernard Chevrolet, i.e. as part of the so-called "sticker" price.

Friends, this is a great way to beat "the system" and score a good deal under more favorable financial terms to the buyer.

Call Craig at Bernard Chevrolet (1-847-875-2445) and see what I mean. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

BTW, "dsinned" is my name, Dennis D. spelled backwards.

Drop me a private e-mail that indicates your "price" If it looks right, then I will cancel my order and give him a call.
Thanks.
