Hey everyone, i just got my hurst shifter installed with a momo knob (shadow) its the carbon fiber one. It came with an allen so whenver it needs to be tightened, but i didnt think that thbis would be a daily routine. Sumtimes after some hard shifting it even gets lose. Does anyone else have this problem.

I used to. What I did was wrap electricians tape around the shaft where the allen bolts will make contact. Then I tightened them. I usually can go 3 months before I have to re-tighten them. Hope this helps.

There is supposed to be a teflon sleeve inside the shift handle. It may be worn and is allowing the handle to rock and thus get lose.

This is the perfect excuse for you to get a Hardbar knob (or SOME knob that screws onto the shifter shaft). Set screws have no place on a shifter knob, IMO.

are ther any knobs that screw on like the harbar but in leather nad have the upside down pair shape or are round.
