We had a blast!! I'm going to snail mail the dyno videos to JC so we can place them in the Media Section. It was cold today!! Afterwards we went to Hooters for some more fun!!

Nice, but how about some numbers... I'd really like to know what the dyno numbers were for the Z06s and actually more curious if there were some LS1 "sleepers" in the bunch.

All #'s were low. There were four Z06's, 3-2001 and 1-2002.

kevslionel ran 322 RWHP 330 RWTQ. Pure stock 2001.

springp1 ran 315 RWHP, 321 RWTQ. Pure stock 2001

RacerBob ran 331 RWHP, 331RWTQ. Pure stock 2002

fcalmes (Silver Bullit :D) 338.8 RWHP 344 RWTQ. Vortex intake and B&B PRTs

These runs were on a DynoJet. Earlier this year I ran on a Mustang dyno and turned 355 RWHP and 369 RWTQ. :-?

Sounds like a "Monday" dyno :)

At least the numbers were consistently low.

Any big suprises from the LS1s?

At least Performin Normans numbers seemed to be right on target... and those Vipers numbers... WOW! Would a H/C Z06 be able to get those kind of torque numbers?

Frank, the numbers sound low in comparison to numbers posted by others, however, they are close to the numbers DRM has gotten for stock '01 and '02 Z06s on their Dynojet. I am always a little suspicious of numbers over 330 rwhp for stock '01s and 340 for stock '02s. It has been discussed that dynos read high in many parts of the country and low in others. Texas dynos always report what seems to be on the high side for example. Regional dyno differences? Who knows. :(
